Kit Brennan
Kit Brennan is a playwright and novelist who was born in Vancouver and grew in Kingston. She graduated from Queen’s University with an Arts degree in English and drama and from the University of Alberta with an MFA. Beginning in 1993, Brennan coordinated the playwriting program for Concordia University in Montreal; currently she is Professor Emeritus. Kit’s plays have been produced across Canada, and include Tiger’s Heart, Spring Planting (winner of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild 1993 Literary Award), Magpie (winner of the 1992 Grain Drama Award), Hunger Striking, and Having.
